The first of the Subaru brand's next-generation hybrid products is set to arrive in showrooms soon - the 2025 Forester Hybrid! The all-new advanced hybrid system will offer substantial improvements in fuel economy and drivability above non-hybrid Forester models while retaining the class-leading capability of Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.
All Forester Hybrid models add:
- Gasoline-electric hybrid system with short-range full EV mode
- Up to 40% improvement in city MPG and 25% in combined MPGÂ
- Digital gauge cluster with Hybrid power flow graphics and three available layouts, including navigation and Apple Maps displays
- TomTom navigation (if not already equipped)
Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive
The standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system in the Forester Hybrid SUV is designed to optimize traction in rain, snow, on rough roads, or even when there's no road at all. It constantly evaluates acceleration, braking, and cornering in real time to continuously deliver power to all four wheels. If a wheel slips, power is instantaneously transferred to the wheels that have the most grip.
