Subaru is preparing to expand its electric vehicle lineup with the arrival of the all-new Subaru Uncharted. Positioned below the Solterra, this upcoming subcompact crossover EV offers a more compact footprint while still delivering the capability and everyday usability drivers expect from Subaru. Scheduled to arrive in the spring of 2026, the Uncharted brings an efficient electric option to the lineup, and shoppers can learn more about this new model here at W&L Subaru in Northumberland.
Performance and Range
The Subaru Uncharted will be offered with two distinct electric powertrain configurations, allowing shoppers to prioritize either maximum efficiency or added traction and performance. The Uncharted Premium features a single-motor front-wheel-drive setup producing 221 horsepower and providing an estimated range of more than 300 miles.
Sport and GT trims provide a little less range (estimated ~290 miles). However, they use a dual-motor configuration generating 338 horsepower, making them ideal for Selinsgrove or Sunbury shoppers seeking enhanced traction and a more energetic driving feel. These variants feature EV-specific versions of Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and X-MODE® traction management, enabling surefooted confidence on uneven surfaces, loose gravel, and wintry Danville commutes.
All versions of the Subaru Uncharted support DC fast charging, allowing the battery to recharge from 10 percent to 80 percent in roughly 30 minutes when connected to a compatible fast charger. A standard North American Charging Standard (NACS) port also provides access to a wide range of public charging stations, including the Tesla Supercharger network.
Exterior
The Subaru Uncharted reflects a modern take on Subaru's evolving electric design language. Its compact proportions make it easy to maneuver in tighter spaces, while sculpted body panels and a wide stance give it a planted, confident appearance. Short overhangs and aerodynamic detailing contribute to both visual appeal and efficiency, while distinctive LED lighting signatures and subtle black exterior accents reinforce its assertive yet accessible identity.
Comfort and Cargo Space
Convenient exterior dimensions and quiet electric performance make the Subaru Uncharted a comfortable fit for cruising Route 147 along the Susquehanna River or navigating daily Bloomsburg commutes.
Inside the cabin, the Subaru Uncharted offers a clean, contemporary layout with intuitive controls and thoughtfully selected materials. There's ample room for passengers in both rows, as well as nicely cushioned yet supportive seats that make this small SUV well-suited for daily errands or longer drives out of Lewisburg. The cargo area provides approximately 25 cubic feet of space behind the second row, and more when you fold the rear seats.
