The off-road capability of the 2026 Forester Wilderness combines the all-terrain, all-weather traction of standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with Yokohama GEOLANDAR® all-terrain tires to take you all the way to the end of the trail and back. With its newly increased 9.3 inches of ground clearance and improved approach and departure angles, the Forester Wilderness can clear larger rocks and obstacles while its front skid plate provides extra protection. Enhanced dual-function X-MODE has settings for Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud so you can dial in customized traction to match trail conditions. Plus, standard upgraded raised roof rails provide a wide range of cargo-carrying capability and can support a rooftop tent2.
