There are certain criteria to meet when considering the Subaru GTP.
For one, the program only applies to current Subaru owners. Any such promised value is then used to purchase a new, late-model year Subaru SUV, sedan, hatchback or performance model. But to secure that guaranteed trade-in value, vehicle mileage parameters are used as guidelines in effecting GTP valuation.
For example, a 2016 Subaru Outback must have a total of 100,000-miles as an allowance to participate. Going forward, your 2020 Subaru Forester should have a total of 60,000-miles while any 2024 Subaru Legacy with mileage totaling 15,000-miles is likely a program candidate.
