Approximately every three minutes, a person in the U.S. is diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. The recovery can be long and often leaves them feeling weak, cold, and isolated. 

Through our partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS), Subaru and its retailers, like us, have supported nearly 300,000 cancer patients nationwide. Together, we are proud to be LLS's largest automotive donor.  

In June of 2023, as part of the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative, W&L Subaru in Northumberland, PA partnered with LLS and Geisinger to give warm blankets, encouraging messages of hope, written by W&L Subaru and customers at our store, and cuddly teddy bears to patients facing cancer.

Through the LLS Patient Aid Program, W&L Subaru also provided 50 blood cancer patients financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, etc. The LLS Patient Aid Program, in partnership with Subaru of America and its retailers, provides financial assistance to blood cancer patients.
