SUMMIT Early Learning

Playground Revitalization

April 2023

This playground sees approximately 100 children daily. With limited funding and staffing, nearly all resources are dedicated towards the children and early learning activities. The playground is an essential asset of the learning processes. From fresh air, sunlight, and developing motor skills and emotional intelligence, the playground is where a lot of a child's growth happens. W&L donated fresh wood chips, sand, plants, and gardening tools for the children to have a safe and clean place to play and learn. W&L also donated flowers, trees, and shrubs to beautify the facility for the staff and families. W&L is more than a retailer. They pitch in where it is needed the most, making them a valuable asset to our community and a member of our extended SUMMIT family.
