The Care Closet

Nestled in the hills of Coal Township, at the Ressler Pediatric Clinic of Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital, a team of doctors and staff are on a mission to provide essential items for underserved families and children through a program they've affectionately dubbed "The Care Closet." 

This humble space is more than just a collection of items; it's a testament to the power of community and a lifeline for families facing challenges. Catlyn - a member of the W&L team (far right) - presented the opportunity for us to help and we jumped at it with a donation of back-to-school supply kits to help stock The Care Closet. We were joined by some of the team members behind this effort - Catlyn's mother, Cari (left), Dr. Mastrantoni and Dr. Weeks.

Show your support for our community by donating new or gently used clothing, school supplies, and other essential items. You can drop off donations at the Ressler Pediatric Clinic, located at 4200 Hospital Rd., Coal Township (next to the hospital), or at W&L Subaru on Route 11 in Northumberland, where we will ensure they are delivered to the clinic.
